It all began seventy-seven years ago with one Marine, Major Hendrickson, and his wife. Diane. Today it is a mission of the United States Marines across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Guam.
Our Campaign was recently named Coordinator/Campaign of the year. This recognition was not possible without the village of volunteers, donors, businesses, organizations and individuals who have joined together in our community. Our Local Toys For Tots Campaign is committed to working cooperatively with our community neighbors and we would like to invite all of the local sponsors, volunteers, and charities to work together with us and make this year's campaign a great success!
Toys for Tots is one of the best examples of communities working together to help those less fortunate. Some facts that make Marine Toys for Tots a stellar charity:
-All toys and money to purchase toys stay in the community where they were collected.
-There are no salaries paid out of your donation.
-Our ratio of overhead to cause is a mere 97/3.
